You may have to tweak some parts to make it work, even though everything is "as it should be" right now. Slide drag doesn't give it enough oomph for the different shape. It jammed with the bullet in the chamber 3-4 times, including once or twice when I dropped the slide after inserting a magazine. What causes the slide not to reset fully when holding back the trigger? A simple test to prove that your thumb is hitting the slide stop is to REMOVE the slide stop and shoot a couple magazines. I am only offering a possible cause and don't mean to deride your skills or anything.

The standard slide stop will probably fix your problem if you don't have the problem with your other glocks that have a standard slide stop. Firing unsuppressed is fine with either spring. I would be concerned, Nt 43X has been flawless with various kinds of ammo, including steel cased. That is unless you are reading it, OP is racking the slide back and hold it back, the pulling the trigger, then releasing the slide. If the problem persists, then you can move on to the next variable. I could not trouble shoot it over the internet.
Today I shot it and still had some problems. No issues at all... Lastly - I went for a more "natural" grip not focusing on accuracy (say, what is needed for confirming zero). Hoping so… I need to bring out my inventory of 147GR range ammo. You practice this to get your finger to remember exactly how much it needs to release the trigger to just get the reset without letting the trigger go all the way back out to save time between follow up shots. If I shake the pistol slightly, it'll return to battery but at times, I'll have a light primer strike. I have about 1200 rounds thru mine. Might be juuust enough to cause a combo of issues. Then rack slide again with the trigger pulled back. I ended up cutting off about half of the visible part of the slide stop, which fixed the problem immediately.
It currently has a Agency Arms barrel. Disclaimer for a break-in period. It's not a silencer, it's a can of whoopass! Blazer brass, sig fmj, sig v crown, am eagle, Speer gold dots both 115 and 124, zero issues. Since he apparently doesn't have a firing pin safety spring problem then my best guess is that his connector has too much outward angle on it. Did you lubricate the pistol?
